タキイ種苗の協力で全国の農家に会いに行く本企画。第四回目となる今回は神奈川県藤沢市で農業を営む青柳正雄さん。ホウレンソウや枝豆を中心とした栽培をおこなう、第一種農家。地元の農家の有志ではじめた「さがみ地粉（じごな）の会」の会長でもあります。

Plants+の課外活動部門としてスタートした「Plantscape Society」。Plants+に関わるクリエーターとPlants+ファンの交流の場として、ワークショップやイベントの企画、また、オリジナルグッズの制作等もおこなっていく予定。その活動プランを紹介する映像です。

An introduction Plantsplus’ original gardening society- The Plantscape Society. Plantscape Society is a ‘real’ place where Plants + fans can come together to learn about Plants. Plantsplus’, Plantscape Society will be drawing on the Plants + network to host workshops, events, and creating original designs and products.

江戸時代の園芸ブームをご存知でしょうか？　花や緑を日々研究しながら、奇想天外なガーデニングを楽しむ人々…その様子を紹介した展覧会「江戸園芸花尽くし」が、現在、原宿の大田記念美術館で開催中です。目から鱗の江戸の園芸事情をご覧ください。

The Edo period in Tokyo marked the height of gardening in Japan. A person of fashion, was not just culturally literate, but was an expert in plants and gardening as well.
Recently Ota Kinen Museum in Harajuku curated an entire show on gardening in Edo.

グリーンを愛するプロスケートボーダーが、東京・青山の街に緑を増やすべく、ゲリラ・ガーデニングを敢行。スケートボードをしながら、街角に植物の種をまいている映像です。企画制作はグリーンを愛するクリエイティブ集団「バリカンズ」によるもの。

Greening China／ホルチン砂漠の緑化プロジェクト

アパレルメーカー「ティンバーランド」が支援する、中国・内モンゴル自治区のホルチン砂漠の緑化プロジェクト。2000年に活動をスタートし、現在、その成果が少しずつ表れているという。現地で活動をおこなっている日本のNPO「緑化ネットワーク」の事務局長、北浦喜夫さんにホルチン砂漠の現状や活動内容にういてお話をうかがいました。
